metalsafe is an easy to use, open source and completely free file upload service. We accept your files, photos, documents, anything, and give you back a shareable link for you to send to others.

Encoding?

Encoding is a just a simple ID encoding applied to the image name and extension, encoding is done server-side, and parsed when used on an URL. You can find more info about it here

Will you keep my files forever?

Since moving files to S3, files are now automatically deleted 2 years after they're uploaded. I may also delete files due to DMCA [complaints] or whenever I deem necessary.
